Exploring how geography has the power to draw and design our bodies and our life.

Exploring how geography has the power to draw and design our bodies and our life. Exploring how geography has the power to draw and design our bodies and our life.

How do you survive in a world of verification without proving who you are?

Over 1.5 billion people lack means to prove their identity, while 108 million forcibly displaced individuals lose access to vital personal data such as academic records due to war, persecutions and climate change. Without recognized certificates, rebuilding life becomes impossible for migrants.

Explore the current state of young displaced people. Understand what it means living in a world with no access to education and identity. How do you explain who you are and prove your identity with no papers? Geoidentity proposes a universal system for study validation with an academic passport to preserve one’s identity.

Geoidentity: Logging the Border

In the globalization era, why can we not imagine the existence of an academic document universally shared among countries? We’ve already done something like that. In the past, we invented the passport to travel around the world with ease. Imagine if each country required a distinct document for entry—Who would travel more? This is what happens when we need to cross another border: "the study & job validation one".

“My house was bombed 3 times. I’ll never have the opportunity to finish my studies”. “I studied management information system. When I came to Brazil, I used to speak 4 languages, and I didn’t find a job”.

“My house was bombed 3 times. I’ll never have the opportunity to finish my studies”. “I studied management information system. Geoidentity proposes a universal system for study validation with an academic passport to preserve one’s identity. The new digital passport contains within it not only personal data but also academic data as a unique part of our identity.

Data are logged and validated through a blockchain platform allowing students to provide all their data for any host university in the world, making education accessible for all.

It is a system with the ability to collect, store, verify and connect educational credentials in a comparable manner across national contexts powered by blockchain technology. Geoidentity would resolve the loss of data protecting people against any unpredictable events. Creating access to life and education where all people, everywhere, can reach their fullest potential.

  • Feeling incredibly honoured to be part of the global Awarded Young Professional at World Water Week 2024 in Stockholm. It was such a privilege to debate whether conflict, one of the major cause of displacement, is a necessity for achieving water security and resilience, and to contribute to the most critical humanitarian and environmental crisis. A special thanks to SIWI - Stockholm International Water Institute and Arup for creating this inspiring sharing space.

Listening to and learning from Indigenous people who know the language of nature was a blessing. Water is a lifeline that connects all of us from country to country to continents. In many places a source of life-in many cases a source of death. We must change the way we relate to and perceive water. For a future where water security is achieved through peace, as an act of justice, as an act of dignity for humans and nature, we must design beyond geographical boundaries, we must move in synchrony as single cells, that cooperate for a unique mission: the wellbeing of the entire organism, Mother Earth.

This is what happened at the World Water Week in Stockholm!

Unlike traditional systems, which vary by country and are often inefficient, Geoidentity unifies these models into a global platform, reducing validation times and bridging bureaucratic and language barriers. It benefits refugees, universities, accreditation bodies, and immigration authorities by addressing both immediate and long-term needs. Beyond crisis response, Geoidentity sets a new global standard for accessible and equitable education, ensuring that academic identity is universally recognized and protected.
